Third Commandment

Series: 10 Commandment Description: This command often brings shame by those who are guilty or a chuckle by those who dismiss it. However, using the Lord's name as profanity simply scratches the surface of it. In scripture, this command often dealt with making oaths. Jesus' teaching is important here- and using God's name inreverently. Also, we need to know how to use his name properly. Finally, we see how Jesus powerfully impacts the Third Commandment.
