God Is For Us
Sunday, 29 August 2010
Speaker Name:
Lynn Morse | Romans 8:31-32
Dan Hanle
Sunday, 22 August 2010
Speaker Name:
Dan Hanle | Matthew 25:14-30
Description:
Being a faithful servant of God-or slave of God, as Pastor Bryan taught last week-is our response to the amazing gift of eternal life He offers. Like the servants in Jesus'parable of the Talents, we either receive what He offers and gain the blessing of doing His work in this world, or we reject His offer and lose all. When each of us individually move forward in our lives as the Lord directs, we as a church will impact our community and the world for Him beyond what we can imagine. And we also experience tha abundant life Jesus promises- a meaningful life, full of joy, in God's blessing and fellowship with one another. Even more, we anticipate that day when we will meet Him face to face, and long to hear those wonderful words,"Well done, good and faithful servant..Enter into the joy of your Master."
Greeting
Sunday, 15 August 2010
Speaker Name:
Pastor Bryan Sims
Series:
Deuteronomy 7:6, Acts 20:15
Description:
Are You a Saint? The greetings of Paul's letters are often packed with important truths that we should not skip over. For one thing, Paul, as he often does,in his letters calls the believers "saints." Most people assume saints are elite Christians but the new testament teaches otherwise. What does that mean? Also, we read Paul's customary greeting: grace to you and peace. These are not just a nice way of saying hello but speak of deep Christian truths.

Sunday, 08 August 2010

Pastor Bryan Sims

In Christian circles, people often gladly identify themselves as "servant" of Christ. Certainly, this is true, but scripture also gives another description that goes even deeper: slave of Christ. We explore this powerful metapher that is widely used in scripture and what this means for Christian living
Introduction to Philppians
Sunday, 01 August 2010
Speaker Name:
Pastor Bryan Sims

In this message, we explore the fascinating background to the book of Philippians. The church at Philippi began on Paul's second missionary journey after he received a vision from God. Once there, Paul discovers both people ready to receive the gospel and to perseute them. This and other information, helps us to understand Philippians much more next week
Demons
Sunday, 25 July 2010
Speaker Name:
Pastor Bryan Sims
Series:
Angels and Demons
Description:
In the final message in this series, we focus on demons. Much of what has been said concerning Satan applies to demons so we want to think about the fall of demons, particularly scripture's teaching about angelic relations in Genesis 6. Also, we look at the issue of demon possession.
Satan Part 3
Sunday, 18 July 2010
Speaker Name:
Pastor Bryan Sims | James 1:14-15, 1 John 2:15, Ephesian 4:26-27
Description:
As Satan opposes the gospel, one of his strategies is to weaken the followers of the gospel. How does he do so? He attacks through temptation. Satan knows that if he can deceive believers into damaging their testimony and fighting with each other, they will not spread the gospel effectively. We explore how Satan tempts us and ways to defeat temptation.
Satan Part 2

Speaker Name:
Pastor Bryan Sims | Revelation 2:8-10, Matthew 5:10-12, Romas 8:28

In America, we are incredibly blessed to enjoy such religious liberty. However, in many parts of the world, persecution is a harsh reality. The source of this percecution is Satan. Who knows that it can hinder the spread of the gospel. We are to remember the persecuted church in prayer as well as live in such a godly way that persecution will inevitably come our way all be it in a much lesser fashion.
