Scripture gives a wonderful blueprint in Acts 2:42-27 where we find 5 key ministries in the church: teaching, fellowship, worship, service, and evangelism. All of these ministries are essentail to making disciples. The first ministry is teaching the Word of God. Scripture is the starting point because it creates saving faith as well as spiritual growth to the disciple.
