Can you imagine finding a great treasure worth millions of dollars? That would be exciting. Far more meaningful and eternally significant is find the supreme treasure-the kingdom of God. The treasure is supreme because we now know God personally and know his blessings.

Passage: Jonah 4:1-11

As we conclude Jonah,we finally learn the reason why he disobeyed God's call to preach to Nineveh- he did not want God to forgive the Assyrians. The compassion of Jonah and the Lord are set in stark contrast. Interestingly, Jesus compares and contrasts himself with, shedding even greater truth on Jesus' uniqueness.

Jesus teaches that we should take seriously our need for deliverance from the evil one (Satan) and that God always makes a way of escaping temptation.
